Solutions for the Workplace, LLC provides high quality, instructor led training on a wide range of human resources and management development topics. We design and present customized training programs to meet client needs; our programs focus on:
- Basic human resources skills for managers including recruitment, performance management, discipline, providing feedback, FLSA and EEO
- Effective performance management and alignment of organizational goals to
individual performance
- Equal Employment Opportunity, Diversity and Harassment training
- Management development topics including delegation, team building,
communication and problem solving
- Career transition skills including personal marketing, resume preparation and
interview skills
All of our training sessions are instructor-led and come with extensive participant materials. We believe in instructor led training that respects individual adult learning styles, promotes skills acquisition and encourages hands-on practice and reinforcement.
Depending on client interest, we use a number of assessment tools including Myers Briggs Type Indicator (individual, team and career oriented MB tools), DISC, Parker Team Player and others. Our instructors are both certified and experienced in using these tools.
Our training programs can last anywhere from a half day to five days, depending on client requirements. Solutions for the Workplace, LLC Principal Nancy Segal is available as a conference speaker as well.
